Oct 6–8: Ambassadors’ Study Tour to Miyagi & Iwate

H.E. Dr Khalil Hassan, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan, joined the Ambassadors’ Study Tour to Miyagi and Iwate Prefectures, organized byMinister of Foreign Affaris of Japan together with Miyagi and Iwate Prefectural Governments. The purpose was to learn how the Iwate and Miyagi Prefectural Governments and the people of the Prefectures are recovering from the disaster on March 11th as well as their beautiful and interesting features such as the historic hiraizumi area in Iwate, which was designated as World heritage by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in June 2011, and Matsushima in Miyagi, which has been regarded as one of the three most scenic spots of Japan.
