February 5-10, 2008 Official Visit of Sheikh Khalid, Minister of Foreign Affairs to Japan (1)

H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain paid the official visit to Japan from February 5 to 10.

On the first working day, Sheikh Khalid paid a courtesy call to H. E. Mr. Yohei Kono, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Then Sheikh Khalid was kindly received by H. I. H. the Crown Prince. In the afternoon, Sheikh Khalid paid a courtesy call to H. E. Mr. Takeo Fukuda, the Prime Minister.

In the evening, there was the Foreign Ministerial Meeting with H. E. Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister of Foreign Affairs, followed by the Signing Ceremony of the Joint Statement between Japan and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
