February 8th 2012: Japan-Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship League

H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan had attended the general meeting of Japan Bahrain Parliamentary Friendship League (JBPFL). After H.E. Mr. Tsutomu Takebe, the President of JBPFL who is a member of the House of Representatives welcomed all the participants;H.E. Dr. Khalil made a speech to thank this opportunity.Mr. Shigeo Matsutomi, the director of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau from Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a brief introduction of Bahrain, focused on 2011. Bahrain and Japan commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations this year. With this opportunity, bilateral relations will be enhanced not only in the diplomatic field but also in business and cultural fields.
