July 5-6th 2012: JICA’s Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan

In the occasion of Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) hosted a Parallel Event and Mr. Ahmed Al Teraifi, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain attended. During two days forum, the former Special Representative of the Secretary General of the UN, H.E. Mr. Kakhadar Brahimi made a presentation on the perspective of stability in Afghanistan from the political views, followed by the discussion between Mr. Brahimi and Mrs. Ogata, Special Advisor to the President of JICA. On the second day, guest participant from development field shared outcomes and lessons learned from the past decade’s experiences, and followed by discussions on issues to be addressed for the next decade.
