August 3rd 2012: Grand opening of the Special Preview of “King Tutankhamon Exhibition”

Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Japan attended a special preview of “Tutankhamun and the Golden age of the pharaohs” on the occasion of the National day and to celebrate 150 years Japan-Egypt Friendship at the Ueno Royal Museum. Welcome addressed by the Ambassador of Egypt, the Representative of the Japanese Government, the Ueno Royal Museum Curator, and FUJI Television Network Representative. Head of the Museums Department has announced that the exhibition includes 122 artefacts carefully selected from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, 50 of them from the collection of King Tutankhamun.
