August 8-9th 2012: Nagasaki Peace Ceremony

Mr. Ahmed Alteraifi, Third Secretary of the embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and his spouse attended the 67th anniversary of the atomic bombing with its annual Peace Ceremony, held to comfort the souls of the dead and pray for the realization of lasting world peace. Total of 50,000 people including H.E. Mr. Yoshihiko Noda, Prime Minister of Japan, officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and members of diplomatic corps, bereaved family members of the atomic bomb victims and locals have attended the two-days ceremony and peace declaration made in the ceremony was broadcasted to local governments, member states of the United Nations in order to send message of total abolishment of nuclear weapons and world peace.
