May 8, 2015: Courtesy Call from the newly appointed Commander, Combined Task Force 151

H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Teraifi, Second Secretary, welcomed, at the Embassy, Rear Admiral Hiroshi Ito, the newly appointed Commander, Combined Task Force 151, for a courtesy visit on May 8, 2015. RADM Ito will serve as the task force’s commander until summer and will mainly coordinate naval patrols by more than a dozen countries. RADM Ito is the first Self Defense Force officer to command a multinational force.
