November 6, 2015: City tour to Saitama City

On November 6, 2015, H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador, attended one-day inspection tour of the Saitama Stadium and cultural sights of Saitama City which was hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Saitama Stadium is the largest soccer-specific stadium in Japan and hosted the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Final Qualifiers. The Bahrain national team also had a match at the stadium in 2010. H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan delivered a speech on behalf of the participating members of the Diplomatic Corps during the welcome lunch reception.
