April 22, 2016: Gagaku Performance at the Imperial Palace

H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador, and other diplomatic missions’ representatives were invited to the Gagaku Performance, Ancient Court Dance and Music, which took place at the Music Department of the Imperial Household in the Imperial Palace Grounds on April 22, 2016. “Gagaku” is a type of Japanese classical music that has been performed at the Imperial Court since about the 10th Century, having been passed down from generation to generation under the patronage of the Imperial Family.
