June 14, 2016: The Special Iris Viewing at Meiji Jingu

H.E. Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador, was invited by Meiji Jingu to attend the Special Iris Viewing held at their Iris Garden on June 14, 2016. The Iris Garden with small paths and fishing spot was designed by the Meiji Emperor for Empress Shoken, and is well known for the splendor of 1500 iris plants of 150 different kinds of irises in full bloom from mid-June to the end of June.
