September 15, 2010 Executive Luncheon Seminar Held in Nagoya

Economic Development Board Bahrain, Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the Executive Luncheon Seminar at Nagoya Marriot Associa hotel. The seminar was co-hosted by Nagoya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aichi Industry Promotion Organization and supported by JETRO Nagoya Information Center.

Dr. Khalil Hassan, Ambassador of Bahrain to Japan and Executive Representative of EDB Japan Office attended the seminar to welcome guests from the Chubu Region. Approximately 50 people attended the seminar.

The seminar was organized to promote direct investment in Bahrain from those companies in Chubu Region which wish to explore expanding their business in the Middle East. The seminar successfully provided comparative advantages of Bahrain in business environment compared with the other GCC countries.

Those who attended deepened their uderstandings in doing business in Bahrain. This was the first trial in Nagoya after the one in Osaka in July outside of Tokyo. EDB Japan is planning to host regularly not only in Tokyo but also major cities in Japan and Korea and promote increased investment into Bahrain.
