February 28, 2011 Opening Ceremony of UNU-ISP Postgraduate Courses

Opening Ceremony of UNU-ISP Postgraduate Courses was held at the United Nations University, Tokyo.

At the ceremony, Professor Konrad Osterwalder, Rector of the United Nations University, Professor Kazuhiko Takeuchi, Vice-Rector of the United Nations University, Dr. Srikantha Hearth, Director of the Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Programme and Senior Academic Programme Officer of the United Nations University were present.

Professor Kazuhiko Takemoto, Senior Advisor to the Minister, Ministry of Environment Japan delivered a Keynote Speech to the students about the Building Resilince to Climate Change.

From the Embassy, Mr. Ahmed Al-Teraifi, Third Secretary attended the ceremony to identify the activities of the University and communicate constantly with academic institutions in Japan.
